FAQ: creating a QR code, paying, tracking scans
Answers to the most common questions about QRForever: creating a QR code, the one-time lifetime payment and scan tracking.
How to create a QR code
How do I create a QR code for free?
Open the Create page, pick a content type (link, text, Wi-Fi, email, SMS, phone, vCard, PDF, app), enter your details and the preview updates live. Then download the QR code as PNG or SVG — no account required.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static QR code stores your content directly: once printed, it cannot be changed. A dynamic QR code points to a short address you control, so you can change the destination at any time without reprinting, and you can see how many times it was scanned.
Can I customise the colours and add my logo?
Yes. Choose colours, module patterns and contrast, and drop your logo in the middle. The preview shows the result instantly — keep a strong contrast so the code stays reliable in print.
Can my QR code expire?
Static QR codes depend on no service and always work. Dynamic QR codes created on a paid plan stay active with no renewal: the payment is one-time, there is no subscription to keep alive.
How to pay
How does payment work?
You pay once for the plan you choose (Starter, Pro or Business) and keep its features. There is no monthly charge and no automatic renewal.
Do I need an account to use the generator?
Not for static QR codes — the generator is open to everyone. An account is needed to save dynamic QR codes, track scans and edit a destination.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, a full refund is available within 14 days of your first paid purchase, under the conditions detailed on the Refund policy page.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can move to a higher plan at any time and keep your existing QR codes and their statistics.
How to track scans
How do I track QR code scans?
Every dynamic QR code goes through a redirect: on each scan QRForever records the event and then sends the person to your destination. The dashboard shows total scans, the daily trend, device type and country.
What data is collected?
Only measurement data: scan date, device type, country and approximate city, and the redirect source. No advertising profile is built; the details are in the privacy policy.
Can I export my statistics?
Yes, CSV export of scans is available from the Pro plan, so you can analyse campaigns in your own spreadsheet.
Can I send iPhone and Android users to different links?
Yes. Device routing sends each visitor to the right app store or page from a single printed QR code.
