Install QRForever on your phone and computer

QRForever installs like an app, with no app store involved. An icon is added to your home screen or desktop and the app opens full screen.

Follow the steps below for your device.

What installing gives you

  • A QRForever icon on your home screen or desktop
  • Full-screen app window, no browser bar
  • Pages you already visited stay available offline
  • No app store, no updates to download

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. Open the site in Safari (installing does not work in Chrome on iOS).
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. Tap “Add”: the icon appears on your home screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open the site in Chrome.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
  3. Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  4. Confirm: QRForever installs like an app.

Windows and Linux (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open the site in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon on the right of the address bar.
  3. Click “Install”: you get a dedicated window and a shortcut.

Mac (Safari or Chrome)

  1. Safari: File menu, then “Add to Dock”.
  2. Chrome: ⋮ menu, “Cast, save and share”, then “Install page as app”.
  3. The app shows up in the Dock and in Launchpad.

Installing is not available from the editor preview: open the published site in your browser.
